Articles
Articles : - A ,An And The को आर्टिकल्स कहा जाता है। सामान्यत इन का प्रयोग ना उनके पहले होता है यह Adjective है इन्हें Modern English Grammar में Determiners कहा जाता है।
Articles को दो भागों में बांटा Indefinite Articles and Definite Articles.
1.Indefinite Articles:- 'A' , 'An'का प्रयोग किसी Noun के पोजीशन को Indefinite और uncertain (अनिश्चित) बनाने के लिए किया जाता है। जैसे :-
1. He saw an old man. 2. There was a king
3. A dog was barking at night .
Example :- 1,2,3 में old man, king, dog के पहले ,'An','A','A' का प्रयोग इसके Position को uncertain (अनिश्चित) बनाने के लिए किया गया है।
2. Definite Articles:- 'The' का प्रयोग किसी Noun के पोजीशन को Definite और Certain (निश्चित) बनाने के लिए किया जाता है। जैसे :-
1. The house in which I live is new. (घर जिसमें मैं रहता हूं ,नया है ।)
2.This is the pen Which I have bought.(वही कलम है, जिससे मैंने खरीदी है।)
3.The gold of Nepal is cheap.(नेपाल का सोना सस्ता है ।
उपरोक्त Example 1,2,3 में house , pen , gold के पहले 'The' का प्रयोग इसके Position को साटन Certain (निश्चित) बनाने के लिए किया गया है।
1.'A'और 'An' का शाब्दिक अर्थ एक, सब ,प्रति, प्रत्येक के हिसाब से कोई पर होता है ,जबकि 'The' का कोई शब्द का अर्थ नहीं होता है ,इसका fuctional meaning अर्थ होता है।
2 'A'और 'An' Adjective- 'One' का प्रयोग कमजोर रूप (Weak form) है जबकि 'The', Adjective - This ,That का कमजोर रूप (weak form) है।
3 Consonant starting noun के पहले 'The'का प्रयोग हो ,तो उसे 'द 'पढ़ा जाता है ,जबकि Vowel starting के पहले 'दी' का प्रयोग होता है ,उसे दी पढ़ा जाता है लेकिन Nouns पर जोर डालने के लिए दी को 'दी 'पढ़ा जाता है चाहे noun consonantऔर vowel consonant क्यों ना हो।

Rule: 1. A/An/ The + Noun
i) I have a book .
ii) He has an umbrella.
iii) The monkey has a tail.
Rule :- 2 A/An/The + Adjective + Noun
i) She is an intellengent girl.
ii) Monika has a long stick.
ii) Tendulkar is the best player
Rule 3:- A/An/The + Adverb+ Adjective + Noun
i) She is a very intellengnt girl
ii) He is the very best player
iii) An egg roll is very delicious food.
Use of Articles
किसी भी Word के पहले A/An का प्रयोग करने से पहले यह जानना आवश्यक है कि उस word का first letter कौन सा है तथा first letter का first sound किया है first letter ,first sound को जाने बिना A/An का प्रयोग करने में गलती होने की संभावना बढ़ जाती है, इस गलती से बचने के लिए यह आवश्यक है कि आप English Letters और उसके साउंड को जाने।
Vowels :-
